Does any body know from looking at the pictures if the single speed bike in my first post alows you to "freewheel" (not sure if thats the term) or will the pedals still spin? Yes I dont have a clue about the mechanics of the bike I now on a geared bike there 70-669 is a mechanism that stops this from happening I just dont know what it is called or looks like. I do live in a Hilly area but by the time i get my confidence and fiteness up for commuting I would possibly purchase another more expensive bike so wondering 70-671 if the single speed might be a lightweight hassle free option? Looked on there website says it has a weight of 13.2kg wich is about the same as the dawes bike @ 13.3. Plus my off road usage would be very light muddy paths slight slopes thats about it. 70-672 Any one know any other single speeders in my budget?
